Great air fryer but for steaks it cooks well done unless you have a 2inch steak
The typhur is a beast of an air fryer. It's wide it's consistent it's quiet, it has a bottom heating element so it can do things a regular air fryer just can't. But this is let down by an absolutely ghastly interface. You can't use the self cleaning feature without connecting to an app. The controls are steak, pizza, bacon and you can manually adjust these but it's not clear what these settings actually do. Pizza will preheat the unit for 8 minutes but if you realise you have to cook it a little more you can't skip this cycle. Will air fry at the same time at the same temperature do the same or does that not activate the bottom heating element? Is the fan speed lower on toast? Who knows? The touch screen interface is remarkably unresponsive. It feels like a premium air fryer with an interface for an air fryer that costs 7 quid from ali-express.
I love this airfryer. So far it’s been amazing. I’m still trying out different dishes including my own Indian recipes. Love the fact this is non toxic. I do believe my friends will want one after they see mine. I don’t mind Typhur sending me another one as I am a keen cook.
